Ready-to-play host kit

A Relaxed Password Game for Seniors: Familiar Words, Clear Cards and Flexible Turns

Let the group choose familiar objects, larger cards and a comfortable pace. Twenty-four ready words support paired play, rehearsal, spoken guesses and easy passes.

Playable words and hosting plan

Choose a comfortable pace

Use these 24 familiar objects and places as a menu, not an assumption about anyone’s memories. Let the group select eight cards, then decide whether to continue. The secret-card file uses 20 point high-contrast text; preview the size with participants.

Offer quiet word-bank rehearsal before hiding the answers. One partner may read while the other gives the clue; guesses may be spoken or written. Pass freely and remove unfamiliar words. Use no timer if preferred, and allow an observer to join when ready. No health or cognition benefit is claimed.

  1. Set chairs so the shared display is readable without turning or reaching.
  2. Explain one clue and one guess with a practice card.
  3. Rotate roles only when people want a change; paired participation is acceptable.
  4. After each solve, ask whether to continue, change pace or stop.

24 words and optional legal clues

This is the private host planning table. Keep it off the guessers’ display; the answer-free player clue cards in the general picker are for prepared-clue play.
